Efficient Token Profiling Tool for AI Coding Agents
skiagram is a local-first command-line interface (CLI) and text user interface (TUI) designed for profiling token usage in AI coding agents. This utility focuses on tracking token allocation across various platforms such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Copilot CLI. It provides insights into why context windows may become full and helps users understand token distribution with precision.
The program features a single-binary Rust build that operates entirely on the local machine, ensuring data privacy. Key functionalities include deduplication of on-disk token counts, separate tracking of cache reads and creations, and detailed drill-down views. Additionally, skiagram supports flamegraph exports for visual representation of token usage, making it a powerful tool for developers working with AI models.
